Slip dresses are making a comeback again. I thought it would be fun to create two different looks with one dress. Of course you can wear this dress with no top underneath but I wanted to take it to the next level. The first look I decided to pair it with this light weight sweater that I got from Target. A little side note, that top is currently on sale for $15! I really love how the top really blends in with the dress as if it's apart of it. For this look you can really dress it down with sneakers or even pair it with booties.
Currently in Austin, SXSW is in full swing! I could see myself wearing this slip dress with my denim jacket and my Marc Fisher booties. By the way, those booties that I always wear are so comfortable I've been wearing them non stop during SXSW.
For the second look, I wanted to dress up the slip dress, so it would be appropriate for work or even going out to dinner. I decided to pair a white button down underneath but the trick to this look is that you have to button it all the way to the top. I think the button down adds a more sophisticated and chic look. To complete this look I paired it with a nude pump to dress it all up!
