Fall has finally arrived and I am loving it!
This time of year has to be my favorite time because the weather is so perfect.  It's not to hot and not too cold. Plus, it's pumpkin everything and you know that the holidays are just around the corner. Since the weather has been perfect you know what that means, it's time to take out all your light weight cardigans. During the fall and winter, I love to layer my clothing. During winter I like to heavy layer my sweaters and my coats. For fall I like to do what I call light weight layering.

I love to layer my tees and dresses with light cardigans or jackets. For this outfit, I wanted to do a light weight layering with this cardigan sweater. The details on this sweater are everything. The white stripes give a collegiate twist but also gives that school girl preppy vibes. I've been watching Gossip Girl on Netflix and I can totally see one of the girls pairing this cardigan with their school uniform.

I wanted to create the perfect preppy fall outfit. When I put outfits together I like one item to be the statement piece of the outfit and for this outfit the floral patch is the statement piece that I want to accentuate. My whole outfit was put together around that piece so I decided to stay in the blue color palette. It pops the pink out of the floral patch and allows it to be the center piece of the whole outfit!

What do you guys think about this outfit?

I'm so excited because today is the first day of fall! Even though it is still 90 degrees here in Austin I can't wait for that fall-like weather. It's seriously the best when winter comes! Ahh, I love it.

Anyway, today's post is about this off the shoulder bell sleeve top! This fall/winter I am going to be the first to say that the biggest trend is going to be the bell sleeve. I've been seeing this trend all over with tops to sweaters and even on pants. Actually, I just bought a bell sleeve top (here is a little sneak peek for you guys before I style it!).  The crop flair pant has been on trend for a couple of months! It's suppose to be the new pant for the fall!

I always say when you want to start a new trend to not to spend too much money on it because you don't know if it will be there the next season. This top is only 17 dollars, you can't beat that!

What do you guys think about this trend? I'm loving it!

Can we talk about this studded YSL handbag!

I've had the privilege to team up with Trendlee which is an online luxury resale handbag site. They specialize in luxury brands such as YSL, Hermes, Chanel, Celine, etc.  All of there bags on the site has been previously owned. My first thought that went throw my mind was how is the quality of this bag going to be. Is it going to look like preowned or is it going to look new to me? When I received this YSL tote I was so surprised how new it looked. The quality of this bag looked like I bought it from the store. The best part of it all, it's half the price that you would buy from Neiman Marcus or Nordstrom.

Everyone would love to have a luxury bag but you might not be able to pay it all at once so this is a great alternative. Trendlee provides financing as well that allows you to make monthly payments if you don't feel like spending thousands up front. You can pay monthly towards your dream handbag which is a great option. Also if you have a designer handbag you no longer want, you can sell your designer handbag to them! How awesome is that!

This fall/winter bomber jackets are going to be huge! I bought this one last year and that's when my bomber obsession started. I love to throw this jacket over any outfit. By the way, it's perfect with a body suit! Anyway, by pairing any outfit with a jacket it really just takes your outfits to the next level.

Have you guys ever heard of the three piece rule? A while ago, I read that Nordstrom has a three piece rule for their employees.  For instance, if you are wearing a sweater and pants you can complete your look by pairing it with a blazer (aka three piece rule). This rule can help you create more of a put together trendy look. So the next time you create an outfit for work or for an event remember that rule! A third piece will add that extra personal style to your outfit.

Hope you guys enjoy this post! Until next time!

A couple of weeks ago, I went a little crazy shopping online. I saw this dress on Revolve and it was on major markdown. This has to be the best savings I did all summer long. The quality of this dress is so good! The top layer is more of chiffon material and the second layer is a silky slip.  I love all the details on this dress from the tassels to the ruffles. It really gives a feminine touch.  This dress is also perfect to transition for fall.

Just to let you know this is everything that goes through my mind before purchasing something. HAHA. I know I'm crazy but like I said before I like to buy clothing that I am actually going to wear more than once. Also, I like to take my spring clothing and style it differently for the fall.
Right now, I feel like we are in that weird phase where you are not sure if you should wear summer clothing or if you should start wearing fall clothing but it is STILL 90 degrees here in Austin. Since New York fashion week is going on this week, you'll be seeing more fall clothing.

So for this post, I wanted to create one more summer look before my blog is full of fall and winter outfits. I decided to pair this dress with my favorite wedges that I literally wore all spring and summer long. To tie in my the black wedges, I paired it with my black cross body bag that I love from Hammitt.  For more of a fall look, all you have to do is pair it with booties and you will be set!

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! Let me know what you think!
