Casual Valentine's Day Outfit

Hello lovess!
Valentine's Day is just around the corner. I wanted to create a more causal look this time around. This sweater/jeans combo would be a perfect outfit for a movie date!
I love a good sweater when I go to the movies just because I am always so cold! This sweater isn't going to just keep me warm but it is super cozy. It kind of looks like a big pillow. HAHA. Talking about this sweater, one of the reasons why I love it so much, you can style it different ways. From off the shoulder to only one cold shoulder or the way- I styled it just the normal way. I thought that was really cool because you can create so many different outfits and no one would really know that its the same top!
Can we talk about this color!?! Pale pink has started to become one of my favorite colors to wear. Not only is it perfect for Valentines Day but it's perfect to transition your winter clothes to spring.

Happy Wednesday lovess!

I am going to keep this post sweet but to the point! This is another find from Tobi. For this look, I wanted to keep it casual. For an easy go to outfit a swing dress is a must!

I always tell my friends you need a cute swing dress, which we already know that I am a big fan of, because it's so easy to put together and style quickly. All you have to do is throw a jacket over it and pair it with sneakers or booties. And bam! - You have a cute quick outfit!

For this look I wanted to stick with the blue color palette because the main detail of this dress is the flare sleeve. I paired it with a denim jacket but I wanted the sleeves to stick out to emphasize on the bell sleeves. So that it's the main focus of the outfit!

Hope this post helps you to create an easy go to outfit!

Cable Knit Sweater x Leather Leggings

Love By Design Marled Cable Knit Pullover

Austin has been the windy city! Every time we go out to shoot some outfits the wind is blowing so strong it's hard to get that perfect photo. I swear in every photo my hair is in my face or I'm making a face! HAHA I do have some funny outtakes from this shoot!

Lately, I've been playing around with oversized sweaters and different ways to style them. I really love a good cozy sweater! I think I say that in almost every post. HAHA! For this look, I wanted to style it differently. Usually, I would style it with a pair of jeans and throw my knee-high boots over it. This time I went into my closet and told myself what other way would I style this look. I saw these leggings that I bought a couple of years ago and thought it would go perfectly. Then I wanted to pair these leggings with my knee high boots to give the illusion of longer legs.

For colder weather, layering is key. The easiest way to layer your clothing is layering your sweaters.
The other week, we had a cold front so I paired this sweater with a white button down and leather jacket. I could see myself layering it with a black turtle neck. I love how versatile this top is because there is so many ways you can style it!

How to wear an oversized sweater the chicest way possible?
One way is the way I wore it with jeans and knee highs. For winter, this style is my go to look.  To transition this look for spring, I would style it with a mini skirt and booties. Here's a little style tip for that specific look. You don't want to style it with any skirt. A mini skirt would be best for this look. You want the skirt long enough that it's one inch longer than the sweater. To finish that look pair it with a great ankle bootie! Another way to style this sweater is pair it with jeans and a nude pump.

I found this sweater on an online clothing store called Tobi. My eyes went straight to this sweater. I don't know about you guys but I love a good sweater. Plus, it's a great price point. Right now, this sweater is $25. Yep, only $25! You can't beat that deal.

Anyways, this sweater is different from any other sweaters I own because of the fun details. For this look, I wanted to play with the fuzziness and give it a cozy look. When I say this is the softest most cozy sweater I own, I'm not lying so I wanted to bring that feature out for this post! To finish this cozy look I style it with this cute beanie.

I would love to know how would you style this sweater!

Happy New Year everyone! I can't believe it's 2017 already! Can you?

I started the new year with a cold, so I decided to take this time to caught up with work! Anyways, I've shot this look last year and thought this would be the perfect time to post. The weather here in Austin is fall like weather one day and winter the next. This dress is perfect for all seasons!

If you read my blog posts in past, you know I am a fan of putting an easy put together outfit. For a person that's constantly on the go, this dress is a must! You can pair this dress with anything in your closet! I like to pair it with booties but I've paired it with knee boots for colder weather. For spring, you can pair it with wedges, flats, or slip on mules. (Side note, I bought these mules from ASOS for only $15 and obsessed with it!)

The best part of it all, this dress is transitional so it will always stay in your closet. I would say it's a good basic to have! It's perfect for layering. I definitely see myself throwing a leather jacket over my shoulders to dress it up.
To finish this look, I paired it with my Rebecca Minkoff quilted bag to add some color! By the way, the holidays might be over but Valentine's Day is coming up and this would be a perfect casual outfit!
