Shopbop Sale Event

(Shop all items below)

Shopbop is having their annual sale starting today till 9/27. This is a great time to save on those investment pieces for this season. You can get up to 25% off of your order on full price and sale items. You guys already know I am all about sales! Especially when Shopbop has a sale, they tend to have items that are more on the pricer. So when they a sale, I am all over it.

This season it's all about cardigans, boots, and layering pieces. I know, my go-to for fall is going to be cardigans. It's perfect for layering. One way to layer it is by wearing it over a lace tank or a lightweight shirt. For winter, just throw a coat over your cardigan. Another way you can style a cardi is by wearing it as a dress. Every season I create a mood board, one inspiration is converting a long cardigan as a dress just pair it with booties or knee highs. I am so obsessed with that look I know I will create a blog post. So stay tuned!

Another item I think everyone needs in their closet is a good bootie or knee highs. The reason why I say that is because you can literally pair them with any outfit in your closet. For fall, all I wear are booties once colder weather comes around I switch them out for my knee highs. This sale has so many great boots that you can save on. You will not regret it!

Don't forget every outfit you need a good accessory with it. I can't stress enough how a good pair of sunglasses can really take your outfits to the next level. If you been following me, you know I love my sunglasses! The biggest accessory for fall/winter is going to be the boy baker hat. You can pair them with your tees or a sweater dress but it's a perfect way to complete your look!

You can receive 20% off orders under $500 with code EOTS17 and receive 25% off orders of $500 or more with code EOTS17. Ends on 9/29.

Happy Shopping!

A Twist on a Traditional Button Down

Can you all believe it's already fall?!? I can't but I am so excited for the cooler weather. Every time fall comes around I get super excited because it's time to pull out all of your sweaters and boots/booties. There just something about fall/winter weather you can just be cozy but chic all season long.

You guys already know that I love a good off the shoulder. I feel that an off the shoulder is a great way to show some skin but in a subtle way. This one is a classic twist on a button down. Just like a traditional button-down, the materials, the buttons going down, and the cuffs are all the same. The twist is the off the shoulder and details. I love the ruffle trimming on the neckline and sleeve. Unlike a traditional button down, I love how it flares from the waist and creates a peplum look to it. Just by adding that detail, this top is perfect for any body type. Just pair it with jeans or slacks, you have the perfect fall outfit!

Pop of Color For Fall

For fall, I love to add a pop of color to my wardrobe. Even though summer is over that doesn't mean you have to put away all of your bright colors. Some people think that you can only wear neutrals or dark colors for fall and winter which is not true. I love to mix it up! Instead of going towards super bright colors you can mix it up with pastel colors like pale pink or even a lighter blue. This off the shoulder belle sleeve dress is a great and easy way to start transitioning from summer to fall. Here in Austin, we still have summer-like weather, so it's still a little too hot to pull out the sweaters and cardigans. So this dress is perfect for that in between weather we are having! Plus, it's under $50!
I don't know if you guys have noticed but the blog got a little facelift. I love setting goals each month and one of my goals is to interact with my readers and followers more on Instagram. Even though public speaking, I don't know if talking through a phone is classified as public speaking, it's a fear of mine. I like pushing myself out of my comfort zone so I wanted to try something new. I asked you all on my instastories what you all want to see on the blog and Instagram.

First of all, I want to thank you guys for all of the messages and the support you constantly give me. Honestly, I had no idea I would get messages from anyone. HAHA. You guys are the ones that keep me going! That being said, it was brought to my attention that my blog was hard to navigate and the photos took a while to load so I decided I need to change things up. I wanted my blog to be cleaner and easier for you guys if it's reading my post or just shopping on the site.

Coach x Selena Gomez Collection

Coach Selena Grace Bag In Mixed Leathers

I had the privilege to team up with Coach for their new collaboration collection with Selena Gomez. I have always been a huge fan of Coach. I know my younger self would be screaming in excitement right now. It is so crazy to think; I would have never thought I would eventually work with one of my favorite brands that I grew up wearing all the time.

Throughout the years, Coach designs have evolved. Do guys remember when the "C's" all over was all of the range? I know I had one in every color. HAHA. Now, I am loving how they are bringing more simpler designs but still staying true to their brand.

I am loving their new collection with Selena Gomez. The collection is very versatile especially this specific bag. You can style it so many different ways. My favorite way has to be with the shoulder strap over one shoulder. I can't forget to point out the color of this bag. One of my favorite style tips is you can never go wrong with a pop of color. It's an easy way to take your outfits to the next level. I love to style my outfits around a statement piece. For this look, it was this Coach bag.

My favorite part about the bag is the inspirational quote underneath it. I read an article that Selena Gomez wanted to incorporate an inspirational quote under each bag in her handwriting which was inspired by her tattoos. I really love that because it's a bit of inspiration every time you wear it. Under this bag, it says "Love Yourself First" which I love because it is so true. That is something that I had to really learn growing up. To me, loving yourself first means that you need to be confident in your own skin and love yourself first before you can really love someone else. I feel like once you can love yourself first you can really conquer the world!

Tips to Transition Your Wardrobe to Fall

This is a perfect time to transition your wardrobe from summer to fall. Before you start cleaning out your summer clothes, I wanted to give you all the tips and tricks you need to get ready for fall.

The easiest way to transition summer to fall is to pair your outfit with a blazer or a jacket. In this post, I styled this boyfriend blazer with a black tank and denim shorts. In my opinion, I think everyone needs a good blazer in their closet. I found this Topshop blazer during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. It's super soft and cozy kind of like a cardigan. When I first saw this online, I wanted to style it with a black slip dress which is a great way to dress this blazer up.

Another must have is a good leather jacket. If you have been following my blog, you know I say this every fall/winter season. A leather jacket can transition any outfit to fall. One way I love styling my leather jacket is by draping it over my shoulder. It just makes the whole outfit look chic.

Some other easy ways you can transition from summer to fall:

1. For sleeveless or slip dress, you can layer it with a tee or a light weight long sleeve shirt.

2. For a strapless dress, you can pair it with a white button down top. I actually just saw Olivia Culpo style her strapless dress this way and thought it was a genius idea. I can't wait to try it out!

3. Also for crop tops, you can pair a button down with it. A couple of years ago, I actually did a whole blog post about this!
