Holiday Outfit Inspiration

Today's post is all about last minute holiday outfit inspiration. It's crunch time and I wanted to get this post up as soon as possible. Plus, I did promise you guys on insta-stories that I would get it up today. Anyway, can you guys believe that Christmas is only three days away? It's gone by so fast, I just can't believe it. This post is going to help you to put together the best last minute holiday outfit.

For this look, this leather skirt inspired this outfit. If you are new to my blog, I like to sometimes style my looks around one main piece. For this post, it's the leather skirt that I received a month ago from Chicwish. I had this idea that I wanted to create a monochromatic look which would be perfect for the holidays. I feel you can never go wrong with the color red around this time of year.  Even though this wine color isn't exactly red, it's just a deeper color. When I came across this sweater, I thought it would match perfectly to create the look I was going for.

I really love the details on this sweater. I really want to talk about the material. I don't know if you can tell in the photos but it's a sort of velvety cord fabric. It is so soft and cozy. Plus, it has a shine to it which is perfect for those holiday parties. Also, I love the little ruffle detail on the sleeves. It really gives a flirty feel to the sweater. The best part is... it's only $50! (whoop whoop). You guys always ask me about sizing so I bought an XS in this top. It says it runs turn to size and I really love how it fits me. By the way, not including the Celine bag and sunglasses, this whole outfit is under $100!

Ways to Wear a Boyfriend Blazer

Ways to wear a boyfriend blazer

For this post, I am getting a little creative and coming up with different ways to wear a boyfriend blazer. I bought this blazer a couple of months ago from the Nordstrom sale, and it's one of my favorites! As a blogger, you want to style different outfits at all the times. Sometimes I feel like that isn't realistic and I love recycling my outfit to find different ways to style it. The first way I've actually already posted and blogged about so you can check it out here

This post is the second way to style your boyfriend blazer. I wanted to show you guys how you can dress up your blazer. It's crazy to think how you can add one accessory and it changes your whole look. Just by adding a belt, it gives a more sophisticated look which is perfect for the office or a date night (maybe a day to night look for the office to date night). For this look, any size belt would work, I styled it with a skinner belt. The reason for that is because I like to loop the end of the belt to make it look more stylish. By the way, if you guys would like to see a step by step on how I create that bow effect just leave it in the comments! Just by adding a belt, it takes your oversized boyfriend blazer to a chic fitting top. I paired it with a black turtleneck top, in my opinion, you can never go wrong with during the winter time and some black over the knee boots.

I have a major boot alert! These over the knee boots are on sale and only $99. I've been looking for months for a pair that was under $100 or a decent price. You guys have no idea how hard it is to find a good pair of boots for the right price. Lately, Marc Fisher has been my go-to when it comes to shoes. That being said when I saw these boots on sale you know I had to get them. If you are looking for a good pair of boots, I highly recommend these!

Box of Style By The Zoe Report

Box of Style by the Zoe Report
Box of Style: Winter Box

If you are looking for a last minute gift, I have you covered! If you didn't know, today is the last day that you can do ground shipping to get your gifts in time for Christmas. The other day I received my Box of Style and thought to myself this would make the perfect gift for someone special in your life. So I wanted to write a blog post about it, just in case, if you are still looking for that last minute gift.

A little bit about Box of Style, it's a subscription box. Basically, a perfect gift every month sent to your doorstep! Everything in your box is hand selected by Rachel Zoe and the Zoe Report editorial team which you receive products worth over $400. The box is $99.99 a month but I found a promo code that you guys can use to get $20 off (code: GIFT20). This is a perfect box for that person that loves fashion, beauty, and lifestyle!

This box is perfect for that person that you have no idea what they want because they just love everything. For instance, like me hehe. I wanted to break down everything that I got in my winter box to give an idea of what you can expect in your boxes.

1. House of Harlow 1960 earrings: Retail value is $115 which you can already see that you are getting your money worth. These earrings already cost more than the box itself! Anyway, these are perfect for that holiday party or just a perfect earrings to make a statement.

2. Box Clutch by Rachel Zoe: Retail value is $115:  Rachel Zoe actually designed this box clutch exclusively for this box. I am not going to lie this was one of the items that I was super excited about. I love the black one, just because, it's chic and will go with any outfit. I know my mom is definitely going to want to borrow this item!

3. Faux Fur Stole Scarf: Retails at $85: This scarf would be perfect for any outfit. I feel like anything faux fur just makes your outfit look that more glamorous.

4. Sex Kitten Liquid Liner from Tarte: Retail value is $20: I love a good liquid liner so I am so excited to try this one out!

5. Essential Hydrating Oil by Osea: Retail value is $68: Hydrating your skin is a must, especially during the winter season. I know my skin gets super dry so I couldn't wait to try this product. I apply it to my face in the mornings and at night. I love the smell of this product. It reminds me of the spa after a facial. I already love love love this product!

4. The last item is a planner from Sugar Paper. It retails at $48. I don't know about you guys, but something about a new planner for the new year makes me so happy. Rachel Zoe also added her touch to the planners by adding motivating words to inspire you during the new year. I love that idea because every month I actually write inspirational quotes in my planner.

You can see that you that this box is worth every penny. You receive amazing products, which are not simple sized (I feel like that's an important fact to include), they are actual product sized. I highly recommended this box to everyone and feel like it would make a perfect holiday gift!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope this post helps you find the perfect last minute gift!
